Asta Advisors emerged from a conversation between two colleagues who realized their complementary expertise could more effectively address the full range of challenges facing leaders tasked with using AI technology.
Both our careers involve integrating technological capabilities with psychological science to transform work, including extensive experience with a variety of AI and machine learning applications. Together, Drs. Fink and Hunt bring internally and externally focused perspectives on the intersection of work, technology, and people.
Dr. Fink is an industrial-organizational psychologist and seasoned technology executive with a strong track record of leading high-performing teams and driving innovation across complex organizations. She has over 20 years' experience leading teams at Meta, Intel, and Microsoft working at the intersection of technology, data, and talent.
Dr. Fink is known for her strategic vision, inclusive leadership, and ability to translate technical challenges into actionable business solutions. She has created multiple operational functions and led global organizations with headcounts in excess of 250 people and OpEx budgets exceeding $10M. Alexis is among the world's premier people analytics practitioners, sought out for her expertise in the governance, management, and use of workforce data to inform business decisions.
Dr. Hunt is an industrial-organizational psychologist and former computer programmer who has been instrumental in the creation and adoption of technology solutions used by thousands of companies and millions of employees around the world. He was one of the "hands that built SuccessFactors" and led work at SAP developing and deploying a wide range of technology solutions to create more agile, adaptable workforces.
He has collaborated with HR and IT leaders from over 1,000 organizations across almost every industry. He is currently working with the next generation of AI-native HR technology solutions, holding fractional roles with several scale-up companies using generative AI and machine learning to improve quality of hire, enable workforce skills management, and support employee learning and career development.
The name Asta combines the first letters of our first and second names. It is also the name of the dog in the Thin Man movies from the 1930s and we like dogs. We are not affiliated with the Ai2 Asta solution.
